Carol Matzkind comes to us with a wealth of preschool experience and a very strong background in Christian preschool education. She worked with St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Modesto for more than twenty-five years. She was a teacher for her first five years and then took over as Director for the next twenty years. In March of 2016, Carol helped start Grace Academy Christian Preschool and became its Director, after St. Paul’s Episcopal Church had to close its preschool because of unrelated difficulties. Carol has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and has completed additional studies in Early Childhood Development. She is married, lives in Turlock and has three grown children.
