What's New at Little Lights Preschool

The school year is right around the corner and the staff at Little Lights Preschool is eagerly waiting for it to start! We’ve been busy planning activities, working on lesson plans and much more. Our teaching team plans to make this a fun and exciting school year for you and your children!

At Little Lights Preschool, we believe every student should receive personalized attention. Our class sizes have a low teacher-to-student ratio of 1:6! How do we make this work? By assigning two educators to co-teach every class. Miss Carol and Miss Nicole G. will be co-teaching the 3’s class, and the 4’s class will be taught by Miss Nicole T. and Miss Sandy.

We are pleased to welcome Miss Sandy to Little Lights Preschool! She comes to us with many years of preschool expertise and holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Stanislaus and a Master Teacher Permit earned at Modesto Junior College. Outside of the classroom, Miss Sandy enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren, and when she needs to get out of town, you can find her taking a stroll through Monterey Beach.

We are also very excited about our new extended day. From 8 - 8:30 AM and 3:30 - 4 PM  we will be offering supervised open free play. We hope this will help to accommodate our busy parents!

Our play yard keeps getting cuter and cuter!
Can you guess the work in progress?
